Mind that you need to exclude a number of packages from the updates
repository or the installation will fail. Add:
exclude=yum yum-updatesd rpm-build rpm-libs rpm rpm-devel rpm-python
rpmdevtools popt kyum
to the [updates] section of your yum configuration file. Note that it
should be one single line.
If this doesn't help, please let us know what the actual error is you
are getting.
