There seems to be nothing wrong with the file contents itself. Can you run:
yum -d9 -c /etc/revisor/conf.d/revisor-f7-i386.conf list
(or what is the file named that throws the error); if that doesn't
return any errors, the file is good as well as the repository. I've ran
this at my PC and besides the repository failing I didn't get any errors
during the doConfigSetup.
One other thing I can imagine is that the model configuration in
/etc/revisor/revisor.conf has the "main" directive wrong, as to that it
doesn't point to a readable file or something like that. Could you let
us know or send us the model configuration from
/etc/revisor/revisor.conf please?

You shouldn't have to touch a comps.xml, unless you want the packages in
your private repository to show up in the Category/Groups list, and/or
you want your private package to be included in some group like "GNOME
Desktop Environment".
