[Revisor-users] Problems with revisor, also newest version

Right, we had exactly the same problem. For FC7 you can fix it if you 
use an old
version of Revisor (apparently 2.0.4.1) and leave out most updates for 
rpm, yum
and its dependencies. It seems the packages in the update repo of FC7 
are not
compatible with each other, since some data structures have changed and 
not all
packages use the same structures now.

When leaving out the dependencies mentioned in some earlier message,
the .hdr problems will go away. We can build ISOs for i386 and AMD64
with this "quick hack".

I think the clean way to fix the problem would be fixing the yum packages
in the FC7 update repo, but probably developers are busy with FC8 now.

No, I did not manage to create a running FC8 ISO yet. I think I'm going
to wait until some beta version comes out, the current repo and revisor
are not stable enough yet to give it a try.
