In addition to Jon's comment I'd like to say that we are going to 
provide configuration for minimal installs (maximum is 1 CD) as soon as 
Fedora 8 is released.

Provided a kickstart this should be perfectly possible. If you have any 
ideas of what should be, and what should not be on a minimal 
installation CD-ROM, please let us know (in a kickstart-like format).

We'll need @base, but not @base-x, for example.
